Fido Fest 2007 will be a day of activities and games for dogs and their families.  The day will begin with a one-mile walk through the trails of Westchester Park in Flower Mound.  After the walk, dogs and their people can participate in activities, games, and contests such as dog races, a weight pull, bobbing for wieners, photo booths, and more!  For those who prefer to observe, there will be demonstrations ranging from the always-popular Dallas Dog and Disc Club to obedience training by CMC Training & Kennels, Search-and-Rescue dogs, and a visit from Flower Mound Police Department's new K-9 Officer. 

Ask a behaviorist for advice, shop in our doggie mall, enjoy frozen treats, visit with other rescue groups, and support homeless pets in your community while having a great time with your canine companion!

HSFM adoptees will receive a special bandana honoring their status as rescue dogs.  They will lead the dog walk, then gather for a Rescue Reunion group photo. 

Participants will receive an event t-shirt, bandana for their dog, and event goodie bag.  Registration is $25 the day of the event--register early and save $5!  If you would like to pick up your shirt and goodie bag early, you may do so Friday evening from 5-7pm at the Flower Mound Veterinary Hospital, 1601 Arrowhead Drive, Flower Mound, TX  75028.  If you can't make it Friday evening, please check in at the registration booth when you arrive Saturday morning.
